Description:

The Project consisted of construction of a new 3-Bay drive through Fire Station, along with a new Equipment Shed, Welding Shop, and extensive Site Work, which included installation of Utilities requiring a ‘bore’ under the high traffic adjacent street with final connection on School Property. The Work of the Project included Site/Civil, General Construction, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and LEED Silver Certification.  A very important component of the Project included close coordination with the operational existing Fire Station on Site and Henrico County Project Management Personnel, to ensure the continuous, uninterrupted operation of the Fire Station, demolition of the existing Fire Station after completion/occupancy of the new Facility, and then completion of the Site Work, developing the area of the existing Fire Station to conform to the new plan.
